One of two spectacular courses at Red Hawk, a prestigious master-planned community in Spanish Springs, the Hills course is a private layout designed by three-time U.S. Open winner Hale Irwin and the centerpiece of Red Hawk’s private club. Characterized by its small, lush greens, wide open fairways, swooping elevation drops and deep white sand bunkers, the Hale Irwin Signature Design course is as beautiful as it is devious. The course is laid over what was once a working ranch, and the clever design incorporates the rolling terrain. Stretching more than 7,000 yards from the tips, the Hills course plays to a par 71. The undulating course climbs to a summit of more than 3,000 feet, affording stunning views of the Spanish Springs Valley. Guests at the Resort will also enjoy the 18-hole championship putting course, another element designed by Mr. Irwin.
