The Palms Golf Club in Mesquite is a William Hull-designed championship course that strikes the perfect balance of traditional and desert golf. The front nine on the par-71 course boasts an old-fashioned, all-grass layout with generous, forgiving fairways that reward long drives. The high desert landscaping is broken up by 28 acres of water in play on all but one of the holes. But the real test of skill comes with the mountainous back nine, a roller-coaster ride through and around rolling canyons with dramatic elevation drops from tee to green. On this side, shot placement is key. The 15th hole in particular is truly stunning, featuring a spectacular view and vertical drop of more than 100 feet from the tee to the fairway. The course at Palms Golf Club measures more than 6,800 yards, accented by serene lakes, sand traps and more than 200 gently swaying palm trees.
The Palms Golf Club may be the oldest 18-hole course in Mesquite, but time has only improved it. The course is impeccably maintained and boasts an almost tropical feel, thanks to the beautifully established palms. After an invigorating round on the beautiful and exciting course, golfers can unwind in the spacious clubhouse.
