Tucked away in the charming gated community of Los Prados, a development in the northwest corner of the Las Vegas valley, the Los Prados Golf Course is a locals’ favorite. Designed by Jeff Hardin in 1987, the well-maintained, 18-hole course stretches nearly 6,000 yards for a par of 70, but regulars warn that it’s more challenging than the yardage suggests. The executive-length course offers three sets of tee boxes, several water hazards, tight fairways and well-bunkered, fast greens. The short layout promises a fun golf experience for the beginner or casual player. And with rounds averaging about four hours, a game at Los Prados is as enjoyable as it is relaxed.

Los Prados Golf Course is also one of the few in Las Vegas featuring multiple par 4s where players can drive the greens. Good players can shoot 64 or 65 on the course, making it ideal for the golfer looking for a little confidence boost.

The course at Los Prados is rounded out by a practice area featuring putting and chipping greens. There’s also a full-service clubhouse with tennis courts and other amenities, a snack bar, restaurant and lounge, as well as fine banquet facilities with beautiful views of both the course and the Las Vegas Strip.
