A private course situated in a pristine gated community on Lake Tahoe’s east shore, Glenbrook Golf Course was unveiled in 1926, making it the state’s very first golf course. In the 1940s, legendary golf pro Ben Hogan played at Glenbrook, with spectators paying just $1.50 to see him in action. More than half a decade later, Glenbrook Golf Course can still draw a crowd, with Golf Digest ranking it as one of the best nine-hole courses in the country. True golf fanatics often play the nine holes twice, taking advantage of Glenbrook’s two dramatically different sets of tees.

The par-35 course covers 2,715 wooded yards. Glenbrook’s rolling greens are set amid towering pines with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. Well-groomed fairways are highlighted by mature foliage.
