Built in 1964 by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee, Desert Rose was one of the first golf courses in the city and still retains all the charm of its early modern design. And thanks to several million dollars in upgrades, the course is just as enjoyable today. Ideally located in the eastern part of Old Las Vegas, just minutes from the Strip, the mature and manicured 18-hole course features narrow fairways and challenging greens that are just right for the casual golfer. Desert Rose measures more than 6,500 yards from the back tees for a par of 71. The traditional layout is certainly player friendly but golfers will find an element of challenge in the design as well.
